Life as it happens ( Beginners)

Some movies we watch just for fun , just to escape the reality for 2 hrs , but sometimes as it happens we see a movie & it got us thinking about our own life , about our own relationship , as i watch this movie "Beginners" for the second time in few days , it got me thinking about whole relationship we share with our parents with our partners , & how actually we live our lives for ourselves not for what people will say not for how  society would react to our relationship if its doesn't fall in the category society has set up for us do we always have to follow the rules can't we make new set of rules for ourselves only for our own happiness nobody else just us .

Beginners has very simple story yet its very unique story Oliver ( Ewan Mcgregor) comes to know after 45 years  his parents were married not happily but married after his mum's death due to cancer his father one day tells him that he is gay !! it was shocking to him as it would be to everybody else , but best part of the story is how he reacted to it ,, he accepted it he also accepted the fact his father now has a boyfriend who is way younger than him , this revelation didn't change his relation with his father but it did change his prospect to looking at life.. the movie often went to flashback to show or explore his Oliver's relation with his mother or glimpses of relation between his parents .. his father 's relation & death ( cause of cancer too ) how it affected his relation  with Anna ( Melenie Laurent) how they find the meaning of being together share the life with the influences they are having in their life since childhood their parents , previous relations even friends & random people in your life how much impression they make in our lives .

This movie also bring a question to me why we look at people differently when they just follow the set of  rules society has set .. a relationship between two people regardless of the gender is same does our human emotions change in different ways from a heterosexual relationship to homosexual relationship my views says no  it doesn't & in this movie also it says no it doesn't it carries a strong message that if a man loves another man it doesn't change him as person he still is your brother or father or best friend  at then end we all are human .

the last prospect to look at our lives or in this movie life of Oliver from the prospective of his Dad's pet Jack Russel  Arthur  it was unique feature of this movie , our pets dogs or cats they share our life a very constant in our life they see everything going around us  they feel they might not say it but they understand  , this movie explored that part with very  amusing sort of way we all have conversation with our dogs or cats here Oliver or Anna did too unique thing we audience saw what Arthur was thinking with little lines written on screen .


Beginners is kind of movie which you don't watch it for mind numbing entertainment but to enjoy a good script, strong acting & at the end it makes you thing what sort of life i am living ? what kind of relation i share with my parents .. if you love good movies its a must watch .

why i still love Supernatural ..

    Supernatural




   I am a Supernatural fan since 2005 when i watched the first episode & this is 2011 i am still completely love

with Supernatural , Six seasons are gone , 7th season is coming up & i am not bored with it in fact i am fretty

excited about 7th season its unlike many series which starts with a bang but loose its charm when seasons

progresses example Torchwood.. one my favorite shows which has gone south. Now Supernatural totally different

story , why i loved Supernatural in first place , cause i found it different whay was avilable at that time, its a

story about two brothers hunting Supernatural beings from Ghosts too genes too Pagan gods .. it was facinating &

still its very facinating those two Winchesters Brothers Dean & Sam i love them both but i have to admit i am bit

partial towards Sam Winchesters played by dashing Jared Padalecki & Dean Winchester by Jensen Acekles whom we saw

before in Dawson's creek, Supernatural is to me escaping reality & enjoy the adventure with Winchesters for 50

minutes. It has truely gotten bigger & better & not once yet disappointed its fans at least not me  it has taken

regular fairy tales to religious myths & it has given it a new kind of twist which not at all hurtful towards any

religious believes but so much entertaining . Watching Supernatural has become kind of second habit , audiance or

fans has formed a kind of relation with the Winchester boys , we kind of feel for their joy , hapiness again also

their strugle their fight , season 4 has introduced Angels & now Castiel has become household name to me he is

more human then an Angel , i am always a fan of & very much interested in Angels & Demons & different mythical

cretures & Supernatural have it all so it is always fun to watch .. i have simply lost count how many time i have

watched each season , its not just about two very handsome gorgeous men playing Sam & Dean its about story its

about everything it has to offer to its audiance best thing is that they actually think what audiance would like

to watch from them they give us that .. at the end of every season i feel like saying " you can't end it there, i

want to know more " . i am very much looking forward to the next upcoming season , & i hope Supernatural will have

lot more seasons for us Sam & Dean will hunt more demons or Dean will keep making us laugh with his one liners or

in Sam's expense .. next will have much more bigger surprise then last season & will leave us wanting more.so

Sci-fi should be fun, not serious drama

I like my shows to be smart quirky funny, exciting that's exactly Supernatural, Entourage, Trueblood, Warehouse 13 are..also its very important to have smart actors & good stories , Torchwood used to be like that.. now look at it.. what rubbish it has become .. first episode i saw of the ner series i knew it its going to be awful & i want to say something about actors of the show.. John Barrowman he was never a good actor but he was a entertainer he needed somebody who is good on acting to tone him down Gareth , Burn, Naoko always did that, about Eve Myles she is not a good actrees she is loud & brash actress who only can show one emotion that would angry shouting she lacks subtlety there was other two actors good at Naoko Mori & Gareth David Lloyd Burn Gorman always kind of physical actor.. & about the new cast members i never saw a show where each & every actor is just plain awfully bad actors Mekhi Phifer even 2nd rated Bollywood actors are better then him he got only one expression on his face like he ate something very bitter & can't let go that taste from his mouth, as for those women actresses they gave wooden a new meaning & Bill Pullman was he the same actor who was in Casper or Independence day.. yeah he is well he was never a good actor but it seems with Torchwood he hit a new low.. as for the writers of the show you people need to take a break from this stressing job of writing Torchwood please have holiday & then watch what rubbish you have written this is not even the shadow of old torchwood its kind of spoof show of 24 meets x-files with a big BOOM , Russel T.Davies his ego ruined this smart quirky edgey British show its now nor American cause it doesn't have that strict professional attitude nor British quirkyness it is lost in between i fail to understand how it went so bad well it happens when you let go of your roots kill away your good actors & characters Torchwood was a British Show out & out.. three actors Naoko , Burn , Gareth ,lead their part with ace.. but now its just lame, boring i hope its die peacefully this time if it comes back again it should come back to its root that would be in BBC & feature Wales , its not political drama it was a sci-fi should have kept it that way Davies is not that good who can pull of smart well paced political thriller he should have stick with British slight camp sci-fi Torchwood, in Torchwood series 1 & 2 there were adult language & sex not explicit but it was there it never needed full on sex because we as fans were happy with what we had, in series 4 the way RTD & John Barrowman promoted sex scenes like that's only left to watch & oh yes cause as they don't have good story totell skilled actors to show their work there so yes all they left is nudity & sex to get audience & how pathetic is that for a show to do that.. I watch Trueblood regularly Torchwood's sex is just lame infront of it.. & the boundaries they are pushing regarding sex hell even incest frankly it did make me bit uncomfortable  but at they end it was clrified what is right & wrong to do as human beings & also they never tried to sell their sex scenes its part of story its there , sci-fi should have all about fun excitement weird things , gadgets  with a human touch to it not serious drama of killing your grandson or a pedophile if RTd wanted that he should have started from season one in that direction not change course suddenly from season 3 & leave his audience who sat infront of their TV to watch sci-fi gets a political drama.. i feel he cheated the audience big time if ratings to go by he is getting return with bonus..

Torchwood Radio Plays did it gave me a closure ??

First thing i have to say about them that this radio plays are better then COE or the new Torchwood Miracle Day ( though i refuse to acknowledge it as Torchwood)  i watch the first episode of Miracle Day & that is everything which is not Torchwood.. just few scenes of Wales & Jack & Gwen doesn't make it Torchwood. anyway we are talking about Torchwood Radio plays which are  i consider the real Torchwood . The first of Three plays  " Devil & Miss Carew" i liked it it gave the old Torchwood feeling Alien hunting Cardiff based Torchwood three with its flamboyant Captain & Devilishly witty Tea boy & Gwen Cooper & her Husband Rhys the banter between Ianto & Jack brought the smile on my face after long time Torchwood made me happy first time when listen to Gareth's voice as Ianto tears of joy came into my eyes although the ending was bland of the play but that was forgivable & it had me looking forward to the next play " Submission".

The second play of the three plays "SUBMISSION"  after long time i really enjoyed Torchwood very much the play was very good we learned about the characters & we got to meet Ianto Jones old friend & flame from TW1 Carlie Roberts loved that character. & i so much agree with Carlie " you are hard man to let go Ianto Jones" the confession of Ianto's regarding his love for Jack was heart warming & every credit goes to Gareth David Lloyd because of his ability of acting & his ability to act through his voice he poured every emotion through his voice & frankly with his voice only he can plan world domination.. over all it was good play if i let go Gwen Cooper's one dialog nobody dies in Torchwood 3 Hello!!! Owen, Tosh, Suzie, Ianto, whole team on 2000 except Gwen Cooper everybody dies.. but i enjoyed the play. now we come to the last radio play . BTW as per promotion all radio plays were suppose to be pre -COE , but it didn't happen that way at the end.

The last radio play " House of the Dead" written by James Goss was not Pre but post COE.. & what i feel about this radio play i am frankly still confused , i loved it no doubt about it , i cried a lot while listening to it & after that also. this play was suppose to fix something which went very wrong during series three "Children of the Earth" the relationship between Captain Jack Harkness & Ianto Jones which is one of the most important aspect of Torchwood went horribly wrong during COE Jack was a total ass towards Ianto & this play tried to fix that part & it did  have success  to do that , but this was suppose to give fans bit of closure on this relationship & long standing campaign to bring back our beloved tea boy Ianto Jones  what happen here is it left me sad after listening to this play & left me wanting more Ianto.. as i said before Gareth did a fantastic mind blowing job in this plays but in this play  he outdone himself he was just too good to be true.. & that left me kind of astonishing feeling how can a creator who wants to make a successful show can let go actor like this & so popular character like this & bring on some actors & characters who are so bad actors & bland characters that could not even excited viewers  to smile or laugh or cry once in whole 50 minutes.

 I have confusing feelings about the last radio play i am happy about the play that at least BBc did make an effort to right the some wrong part of COE not everything which was wrong & & tried to give fans a closure .. but it left me feeling sad once more & wanting more Ianto .. & i believe its because of Amazing Mr. Lloyd & his acting & portrayal of Ianto also Ianto as whole character so beautiful we can't help but want him more.. but now what i am looking forward to is more Amazing characters like Ianto from Gareth David Lloyd.. if Ianto comes back i am happy if doesn't i have learn to live with that & with that end of Torchwood.. 

why love Ianto Jones..

I was thinking about what to blog.. now that i noticed the date it will be 9th July in few days the day our most favorite Tea boy Ianto Jones was killed for no reason in Torchwood two years ago..  It has been two years but the campaign for Ianto is still strong after so much  talk about only 9 hysterical women invested in Ianto but, it did proved those people wrong didn't it?? Ianto was dead never returning to first the comic strip written by the Actor himself to now pre- Children of the Earth Radio plays Ianto came back.. simple reason Ianto is good for their marketing Ianto Jones sells, but i doubt creator of the show understand this completely other wise would have brought him back in the show  but some how after getting the glimpse of new Miracle Day ( i refuse to call it Torchwood) i think is it better that Ianto is no longer part of it, our beloved character no longer part of the   something which is called mash between "24" & " Benny hill show" . i somehow feel relived that Ianto is no longer there, but that doesn't mean that my love for the character of Ianto Jones diminished slightest bit, more it grew with the time , i mean is there anything not to love about that  character, first of all Ianto's character is not over the top like Gwen's  he is more calm cool, yet much more strong & passionate & also the portrayal by Gareth David Lloyd is just perfect, Ianto is much more subtle yet more  passionate the  episode " Cyberwoman" proved that, his love for Jack was always their but it was silent support not loud & demanding , & we all admit don't we he did look good in a suite & made best coffee in the world, his present in the show made it more watchable , there is not a thing you or I can say that we didn't like about Ianto .no he is just perfect.. & also that character's dry witty comments made that show more likable most of the amazing remembered dialog came from Ianto the best was " Mobiles Landlines tin cans with bits of strings. everything absolutely everything no phones , phones are broken, " hello anyone there? No, cause the phones aren't working!! hilarious .. so after two long years after COE happened now the so called new bigger better Torchwood will be aired on July 8th just one day ago of that day.. Ianto Jones very much rule his fan's heart.. will not be forgotten ever..No, cos the phones aren't working!

Lets Talk Torchwood & why i won't watch it..

Lets talk about Torchwood shall we?? yes, which is adult spin off of British hit sci-fi Doctor Who which is by the way is just become brilliant in season 5 & season how should i say 5 1/2 cause season 6 not over yet.. but back to Torchwood .. it used to be one of my very favorite sci-fi show  , i say used to be because its no longer & i will say why its no longer my favorite show.. Season 1 of Torchwood nice compact season it had Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor who played by John Barrowman i liked him started watching for him but over all love the concept except if i ignore very annoying over the top another lead character apart from Captain Jack Gwen Cooper , its not that i hated her but as it was put she was heart & soul of Torchwood well to be heart & soul she was too much flawed & annoying if i see her as a normal human being with regular character flaws she is ok.. but my main attraction was some cool aliens &  rest of  the cast members a very snarky Doctor Owen Harper a very timid shy Tech Toshiko Sato & the best character who was not very much given screen time except one episode " cyberwoman" the tea boy of Torchwood Cardiff Ianto Jones  so some plot holes & everything season 1 was pretty good season 2 was very good until two good characters with brilliant actors were killed of.. then came the season 3 5 episode back to back more of a mini series with lots of promise Children of the Earth , to say the least it was disappointing to the core it not only killed of another brilliant character Ianto Jones but if his death held some meaning it would have been acceptable it was just for drama as creators of the show & some writer put it  as james Moron said they spend 3 days thinking what to do & decided to kill Ianto i would say lack of creative imagination nothing else.. now Torchwood moved to season 4 it used to be a British show made in Wales another thing i loved about it along with its aliens , its characters its hub its resident pet Pteranodon & its resident weevil, but Torchwood moved to Hollywood to be bigger & better & how it becomes bigger & better they introduce a character who is a pedophile & according to JB's interview it has " man sex" & nudity when i watch a sci-fi show why would i bother about those things i would watch something adventurous something relaxing to escape the stress of the daily life .. two men or women having sex its not going to give that.. anyway..  its not only because Ianto Toshko & Owen is not there anymore its Cardiff , hub, not there anymore ites my favorite Torchwood not there anymore cause the Torchwood i loved that didn't have a likable pedophile & i draw the line there.. so Miracle day its no go for me.. but as 3 radio plays coming up i would listen to them because of Ianto.. hope they have more Ianto less Gwen Cooper other wise it will be again a disappointment .. i hope some day BBC will look back & decide to bring back old Torchwood would love it with return of Ianto Jones as its sci-fi & in this everything is possible dead not really stay dead Torchwood itself is the example of it.. 

My views about Indian Television

first of all i love watching television, really love it.  To me its a way to escape from daily stressful life for few hours, i do not simply do not watch hindi or regional channels, it has to be always American or British TV , call me snob but i don't care Indian Television its simply silly some time while changing channels i get to see glimpse of some series which are on for like forever but that's not an issue really if the series is good it can go on  like in case of Supernatural of CW network in India its comes in AXN but here is the difference in American or British TV they get break between series but in India it goes on without break,  i find it very silly i mean a person needs a break from everything & how you feel to watch same thing for years & when i say same thing i mean its same thing same big houses with same overly dressed people who are either crying over something or getting Married or recent trend is involving Children , few days ago a saw a serial for about 5 minutes where a 11 year old girl got married with a 25-30 years old man, isn't it banned in our society by Law of the constitution , i mean we are still so far behind from rest of the world that all our audience enjoy is this cause those channels show them just because people watch them, right? is our society is so narrow minded that all we enjoy is this, i haven't seen anything else in Indian TV which are different , lets face it here in India we don't have one sci-fi show which we can call its India's very own sci-fi which i love cause that's just perfect to escape the reality , i am not saying we can have Star Trek or stargate or even BBC's Doctor Who made here its simply not possible here either technology or that creative ideas i guess we lack .. but seriously all we can have in Indian TV is a from of Pedophilia OH YES!! a 11 years old girl married to a 30 year old man that's a form of Pedophilia i just wonder why Government 's child & Women welfare department has turned blind eye towards it they were not  when in their language obscenities were shown in Ftv or AXN even BBC has to edit of their sci-fi show Torchwood where two lead male character were lovers & some kissing scenes were edited here cause we Indians won't be able to stomach the idea about two same sex people in love cause simply our society is not that progressed enough where we can grasped the idea of two people can fall in love their gender doesn't matter but i am not going there its just that i found how boring & lack of creative ideas in our Television  & to watch something good we have to turn towards American or british TV be its Sci-fi/ Supernatural or even good Family of Cop drama we don't even have show anywhere near to CSI series.. or a sanctuary of SY-FY USA which BTW showed pretty cool avatar of Hindu goddess Kali.. so yes i  have very cynical view of Indian Television..which in my eyes just not worth it.
